Appointment requests submitted through the Site are requests only. No appointment is confirmed until our office or Baylor Scott & White Health confirms it with you directly.

Submitting an inquiry does not create a consulting engagement, expert-witness retention, advisory relationship, or any duty of confidentiality.

Surgical outcomes, recovery times, and complication rates vary based on anatomy, hernia type and size, prior repairs, medical history, body habitus, smoking status, adherence to postoperative instructions, and other factors. Recovery timelines described anywhere on the Site are general ranges, not commitments. All surgery carries risk, including risks of infection, bleeding, pain, and recurrence, which will be discussed with you individually during informed consent.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, articles, patient education material, photographs, illustrations, graphics, video, logos, and design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The name and logo “Bola Aladegbami, MD” and associated marks are our property. Third-party marks appearing on the Site belong to their respective owners.

You may view, download, and print Site content for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, republish, distribute, modify, translate, frame, mirror, scrape, or create derivative works from Site content, or use it for commercial purposes or for training machine-learning or artificial-intelligence systems, without our prior written permission. 11. Limitation of liability

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally for at least thirty (30) days.

15. General terms
